Welcome to the MesoWest CFFDRS Fire Weather Index Calculator.

This tool allows you to compute standard fire weather index values from the Canadian Forest Fire Danger Rating System. These indexes give an indication of various fire potential characteristics, and are derived simply from present weather conditions, in addition to the establishment of initial values from which interative determinations are made.

Using this tool, you can set initial values, and then provide weather conditions for either daily or hourly FWI calculations using the given weather observations.
